First time I'm trying this food, used burns before but not weight control. Previous used royal caines, but I wanted to try a cheaper option. My dog seems to be enjoying it, so no complaints there. He hasn't been on it long enough to see any weight loss/gain.

Both dogs need to be weight watchers and enjoy one meal per day eating this. Light in weight so they get a good bowl full and are happy. Easily digested.

I had this food for a while for my last lab as the vet advised some weight loss. The loss is gradual and the food is great as the oats give it bulk without fat so the dogs appetite is satisfied. Our current dog was a putting on weight so I mix the food with Burns Senior Fish and Brown Rice ( half and half) and she is slim with a lovely shiny coat.

I’ve used this kibble for years. Because of the oats content the dog gets a good bowlful so loses weight without feeling hungry- well still said she was hungry but not as often. A food loving Labrador.
