“Having had reeds from the original Windeler about thirty years ago, I was told recently of the existence of these ones, and ordered several in the hope that they would be of the same standard. Probably over the time my style of playing has changed substantially, but I am very happy with the quality of the cane and the manufacture. All of them played straight out of the box, though the wires needed a bit of adjustment. I would/will get them again, and definitely through Crook and Staple, as they gave excellent and very fast service with no hassle, and no currency exchange problems, as there would be if buying direct from Windeler in Germany.
