This is best reed I have used to date. It responds equally well at the bottom and top ranges. I would highly recommend this reed.

These reeds are just a class apart from any we have used in the past.

Reeds arrived promptly. Seem OK but haven't had time to play them in yet. Am expecting them to be good!

I have found 2 company's (and I have tried many) that really make some fine reeds that play great right when you receive them, and your company is one of them. Thank you.

Three out of the four reeds I bought played straightaway. They spoke readily and at pitch. They were very bright sounding reeds though and sounded rather strident on my Yamaha. My wife thinks she'll be able to use them on her darker pre-war Heckel.

I am very happy with this reed. I found it very easy to play without much 'playing in' time needed. Gives a great tone. I will be ordering some more.

I ordered a couple of reeds in the hope that they would arrive in plenty of time for me to play them in before my next concert. Unfortunately, because they are so popular, they arrived the morning of the concert. When they arrived, I was disappointed that one of the wires on one of the reeds had slipped down, so that needed tightening, but once I’d tightened it-WELL! I would NEVER recommend playing an important concert on an unfamiliar, non-broken-in reed, but that one was so good that I took a chance during the afternoon rehearsal. The tone was secure, with none of the “un-broken-in wobbly E and D”, and I felt confident that the reed would sound at all pitches and all dynamics (I had an entry on a pianissimo low E). So, I played the concert on the new reed.

My 3 reeds blow nicely without any adjustment. I havn't tried them in an ensemble yet but have high hopes.
