I love the colour, but the polish is very thin and needs either a minimum of 4 coats or to layer over another block colour. The polish takes ages to dry, and as yet I have not yet used it on a full set of nails.

WOW! I am fully obsessed with multichrome, duochrome, colour shifting nail varnish and boy, this polish does not disappoint! It is the most beautiful polish I think I have ever used. I don't think the pictures online do it justice. I find that with very little natural light I can get a full spectrum of brilliantly, sparkly teal blue, to bright then dark purple and then at certain angles I even get gold, green and orange/red (but only at angles you wouldn't normally bend you fingers / hands into). I've currently been wearing it for 4 days and it's showing only slight wear on the tips and at this stage I'm usually fighting to keep the polish on whether it's chipping, peeling or shrinking, or just me being impatient and removing it, but this is just gorgeous. I used a Zoya base cooat and top coat and put three thin layers between and another over the top of the top coat to go over some slight indents that happened whilst I was sleeping (standard). It was opaque after the third layer. It does feel thick once dry and I like that, it makes if feel more durable and I believe the Gelology formula is very durable. I'm not sure a thick, fast drying top coat would be right for this polish, I think it would shrink it and therefore ruin it. If you can, use a non fast drying top coat and wait for it to dry fully.

I got this a few weeks back and have worn it 3 times now. It's excellent nail varnish and the colour is just amazing! People keep asking what it is. The trick to perfect application is to apply base coat then a solid block colour on top of that. I use an OPI dark purple. When those are dry apply 2 coats of Ciate After Dark Geology. This gives me the perfect look and easily lasts over a week without chipping. I only do my nails every 8-14 days and this varnish stays on long enough.

Beautiful colour but chipped almost instantly. Very low quality, which is a shame because it looks lovely.

Beautiful colour but pointless. Takes so long to dry. I'm used to using uv or led gel nails all the time. Thought this was like the Geltox range you used to do a few years ago. It's not. I use a gel base coat and gel top coat. But have to wait ages for Gelology to dry. Then when you think it has....still will mark and smudge, after a couple of hours of waiting and completing nails and making the nails cold under a cold tap. Bought three colours. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend or bother again. I guess Gelology just means high shine. Yay(!) I usually use colour-changing nail varnish so having bought these iridescent colours was a wow for me. Now, not so much. Who cares, if it doesn't dry good. Thought nail technology had improved since about 4 years ago. Two coats won't do it either...three coats max. Never mind. Someone who uses regular nail varnish will enjoy them in sure. Just my experience after being a UV gel person for so long.
