“The external of the barrel is very good. So are the oak feet for the barrel to rest on. My only issue i had was that i am using the barrel to make into a piece of furniture, and the inside of the barrel did have a lot of residue/ yeast sediment dried onto it. This stunk! Clearly it wasn't a wine barrel but by the smell maybe a cider barrel. Luckily it did come off but it did require a lot of scraping and wire brushing. Hopefully soon it will be a nice (and less smelling) piece of furniture.”
