The Leaf Blower is the best that I have ever had or used. I have no hesitation in recommending this machine as an excellent leaf blower. It is also a benefit knowing that the machine can be serviced locally in Northern Ireland by a family business.

I was after something that could clear up the leaves in my garden and maybe yes I could have gone with the smaller model and saved a few £££ and yes other than this time of year it wont get a lot of use, but I am happy I went for this model. My garden is not massive but big enough, however this blower made short work of pushing all the leaves to one end and it is amazingly controllable so you can get all the rubbish into quite a neat and tidy pile so all you have to do is scoop them up. Garden looks amazing at the moment, but I am sure in a few days it will be covered again but not that bothered now as this blower makes short work of it all. Easy to start and lite weight as well which is good with my bad back hence the reason I went for the back pack model. Obviously it's only been a day but I was very impressed.

A great bit of kit. I've bought German machines since the mid 80's and always said I'd never buy anything different but after buying a echo brushcutter in the spring time I'm hooked. The blower is great. Powerful enough for my needs looking after country estates here in the UK. Starts easily and a good running time on a tank full of fuel. My only criticism would be the pipe was to short for me as I'm over 6ft tall. I ordered a second middle section that was dirt cheap. Problem cured. Again. Great bit of kit and a great price. Matthew. Having struggled with a Husqvarna backpack blower for the last 2 years that displayed a number of faults (mainly carburettor issues) and eventually died, it's been a breath of fresh air ('scuse the pun) using this new Echo PB-580 blower. Very easy to start, reasonably lightweight & comfortable to wear, consistent & strong air flow, and a good deal cheaper than the old one. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this blower for heavy domestic (5 acres at my place, and a LOT of trees) or light commercial work. The 5 year domestic use warranty is an absolute God send too. Well done Echo - another great bit of kit for the armoury :-)

Reviewed by slim 50+ lady gardener. Easier to use than my last blower as fits better. Although I did really like that waist strap with my last model. Straps to alter the size of arm holes are good, especially providing the top straps to keep close to my back. It is a little tricky to start but once I got the hang of it, it all was fine. I need to place it up on something to get a good pull on the starter cord as its hard to start on the floor. Just takes practise. And having been told about the special fuel I bought I now don't have to worry about mixing either. Early days but so far so good.
