“Great piece of tech kit, this is the 3rd one I've bought (2 for me and 1 for my wife) and they are fantastic value for money compared to similar items out there. If you run with a sports watch with GPS then this will connect to your watch and work in conjunction with GPS to give a far more accurate distance covered while still allowing the GPS to track you route etc. Calibrate it correctly (simple task) and you'll be reward with far more info to analyse than most people need. Some of it is very worthwhile and some of it not so much. It will also analyse your treadmill runs even if you just connect to one of the many free Apps out there that track you training (Strava for example) and you'll have so much more than just time and distance from the treadmill display AND this date will be stored for you either in the phone app that comes with this device (download from App Store or Play Store) and/or on the running app you use. Compared to £100+ watches and £300+ other Footpods, this is only about £30 and does everything most runners need, although more serious runners will connect to their Smart/GPS watches.”
