Would have given 5 stars if it came with latch. You must buy separately. Very sturdy and easy to install with hardware included. I replaced a privacy fence that was blocking my river view with this gate and Prague style fence. I used the prexisting 4X4 posts from the fence instead of the metal posts that were included. It worked very well. I was very happy with it,
