Stringers were very helpful and accommodating while my son tried a selection of 3/4 violins. Having time and space to find the best tone and feel is important to him at this stage and particularly within this price range is essential from our point of view. Trying instruments on loan is also very useful. We are very happy with this new violin. As our son will need a full-size violin in a few years we would be happier with the price if the return value were higher.
