I have mixed feelings about my last experience. I have ordered before and have been very happy with the products and the service. However, my last order was not so positive. I happened to be away when I placed the order so I asked for a specific date for the order to be despatched. When the order was placed it said it was going to be sent by Royal Mail standard tracked - I know that that can take at least 48 hours so I asked for a despatch date that would mean I would be home when the package was estimated to be delivered. However, I received an email the day before the agreed date saying that it had been sent by DPD. I dislike courier deliveries and one reason for using SMS was RM delivery. I questioned the despatch date and was told that it wasn't a problem as DPD would send me an email and I could change the delivery date. This never happened. I received nothing from DPD. Luckily I had the DPD app and was able to log on and find out that delivery was scheduled for the following day - when I wouldn't be in. I was able to change the day and the package arrived safely. I don't want to appear to be making a fuss about nothing - and I will order from SMS again as they have a great range of stock - but this experience just left me with a bad taste.
