From a tutor.
Tutora (now Tutorful) lied about how the fees were set up. They claimed:
"To make it as simple as possible to compare your rates with other tutors, we allow you to set your own hourly rate. From this, we charge students a platform fee of between 15% and 25% of the lesson cost."
This is a lie to try and bolster their tutor portfolio. When I enquired upon being paid less, they claimed that 'the wording was slightly unclear". It's anything but. Deceitful and untrustworthy company
