I started chemotherapy, hoping that my hair loss might go unnoticed, but it began to fall out quite suddenly. I visited the Nottingham salon and Maureen put me at ease, and after trying a few wigs settled on one, which she cut a fringe into to match my own hair. I was nervous about wearing it at first but it was commented on really positively at work, and among my friends. Hopefully, it will last long enough until my own hair grows back later this year.
