AHOY provides a fantastic enrichment opportunity for young people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and we have seen improved attendance and punctuality, organisational skills, social and personal development, promotion of physical fitness and teamwork. It has been an absolute pleasure working with all the instructors and volunteers at AHOY who have an amazing way of ensuring that the young people feel at ease when they are out of their 'comfort zone' and are prepared to build positive relationships in order to make sure that the young people reach their full potential.”
