I have noticed on the reviews published herein that they, in the main refer to two employees and are in relation to 'time shares' and property sales (which was a poor review). Under the section for professional Negligence, there a none as yet. Within this section the business, in our experience the reviews do not match, in any way what so ever, the 5 star reviews published. I sincerely hope this VERY POOR review will be published to enable the public to make an informed decision. Mr Andrew Maidment 'processed' our case. and very poorly. In the reviews you proudly show, the public thank you for keeping them fully informed. This was not the case with us. We believe we were never properly informed of the risks and processes, in what began as a small claim for £2,500 due to a 'search' error. Under advice from Mr Maidment the claim was increased to £20,000 resulting in a totally unrealistic claim which took THREE years to resolve. Yes we did receive a small payment which was outweighed by the emotional stress of the three years. Whilst Seth Lovis 'billed' around £100,000.00 for their services on a 'no win no fee' claim. Judge for yourselves if you believe this system is fair and worthwhile. I would strongly recommend that you use the 'Small Claims' courts for small claims such as ours, it was only due to illness that I was prevented from doing just that. The 'no win no fee' needs a total overhaul as in reality any Solicitor will cherry pick the cases they are sure of winning, as they will not take on cases that they may have to carry out for free! So the risk to them is minimal whilst the financial gains are huge and open to abuse with protracted cases running over several years. Do your homework!!!!!
