My husband and I enjoyed the protein cleanse for a few days and then he broke out in a terrible rash all over, his throat started itching and mouth swelling. After two DR visits, a steroid shot, two different oral steroids, a steroid cream, Benadryl, and lots of hydrocortisone cream... We discovered that people sensitive to poison ivy will have an extreme allergic reaction to raw, unprocessed cashews. This is a disclaimer that TRULY needs to be addressed and could have been tragic had we not taken it seriously and addressed it immediately. I did appreciate that they cancelled my subscription without fulfilling the second shipment and the flavors were good. But, unfortunately we learned the hard way that unprocessed, raw cashews can cause serious allergic reactions!
