Handed over my C63 AMG 6.2 litre V8 limited Edition pride and Joy. Engine ticking issues, random misfires. Wheel alignment. They carried out an engine strip down, diagnostics work for these terrible random misfires. A lovely job done. Engine purrs like a cat. Misfires gone. This is my second visit to this team at Slough and will not be my last. I was a little worried about the car as to possibly the amount of work needed,especially with the awful,temperamental engine misfires before I booked her in. But based on my previous experience with this service centre and advice given to me by my circle of friends, to only have this work carried out with mercedes Benz. It's a special car. On the day I went to collect the car I realised, silly me, that the MOT had just expired, so at very short notice they put her straight into the MOT bay, knowing I was collecting that day. After a little wait and feeling a bit worried, with drinking 3 cups of coffee. They came out and said, " The cars passed" I instantly felt relief. She is special but not a spring chicken anymore. 9 years old, an ageing vehicle. What I really like about this team is they have the attitude, if it is working then don't replace it. I asked about a few things and they said, " why? It doesn't need it. In the long term I think this attitude gains customer confidence because when they say something needs replacing, then it means,it needs replacing. When I finally went to pay, I thought the total cost was good, considering all the work carried out.
