Whilst the Key Account Manager for our site was extremely keen to have our business, when asked to come back with a more comprehensive quotation, he reluctantly did so and on top of that, we received the incorrect product specification. Upon feedback, he then stated that in fact it is our own error for not having enough dialogue with him, when in fact we have specified that the discussion was based on the original product we have ordered. In the end we have realized he did not make the quote more comprehensive, he just sold us a cheaper product, which did not fit our specification. A fitting word of advice for any future purchases would be focusing on action not debate and more attention to detail to what the customer needs.
