I wonder whether celcomdigi should promote your service like this. you CelcomDigi have hired suspected thugs/gangsters for debt recovery. What happened today to me was: I have an account number with Celcom but have terminated it few months back. at the time of termination in the Garden branch i wanted to resolve all payment but i was informed that the account was not finalised, i can only pay the remaining outstanding later of the month. timess goes on and i didnt realise Celcom had send me the latest bill. until this weeek, i have been receiving calls from different number, multiple personnels claims to be from celcom asking for the outstanding of RM 81++. they been very agressive and demanding me to pay by the day itself. asking me what time i can complete the payment. they was rather agressive but i just ignore. i had a new born baby so it is impossinble for me to resolve the matter immediately. on 11.5.2023, early morning about 8am i received a similar call, someone claiming to be from celcom demanding payment in an agressive way. i was annoyed and i told the person off , saying that i will pay it is only RM 80++ i wont run away. but she still questioning me ask me what time i will pay and all. i hung up the phone. on the same day, about 1245pm, an unknown number call again asking me to clear the celcom payment again. this time the guy was very very rude, i said pls stop calling i will make the payment. he questioned me when and ask me to pay immediately, he even shouted and me and scold me with vulgar word. i asked for his name but he refused to give me his name, he challenged me to go to celcom tower and threatened to beat me up if he sees me. he has all my details and i feel my safety is threateneed. I have called celcom hotline but no answer being given to me and i feel deeply dissapointed. i will make a police report once i settle down my new born baby. according to celcom hotline it was not the celcom officer but it was a htird party debt collector, CelcomCelcomDigi can you explain why u give out your customer details to third party and how u can ensure the third party didnt abuse the data? am i safe now as the person had threatened me.. i fwill take all ncessaray action including but not limited to make police report, lodge a complaint to mcmc also take legal action against you on monday.
