I bought 2 packs of Deramores safari cal, having been asked if i could make them. The yarn substitute (Deramores DK) they have sent with the packs is not the same yarn (Deramores Baby Soft DK) as the squares should be made in, the thickness of the yarn is different the yardage is different and it gives two different size squares. There are no details on the pattern about the yarn sub and no info anywhere, the response i have had from them is it's the same composition ? yes they are both acrylic. I have been told i can return the goods minus the yarn already used for a refund, these blankets are for people that have asked me to make them like the picture, and not for myself. I'm not out to get anything for nothing as i have had to purchase the correct yarn to make them. Anyone buying the kit and pattern beware that you will have to purchase the 2 balls of Deramores baby Soft DK extra on top. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL !!!!.
