Well the website looks nice, buying the insurance is simple and they make it look like you will be well looked after. Unless that is you need to claim. In which case you find your actually directed to AXA who will refuse to pay out in any circumstance. I couldn't go on the booked trip because the flights were cancelled and the country I was going to (Norway) imposed a quarantine on arrivals from the UK on the dates I had booked. This seemed to be covered they had even sent a specific email about Covid 19 being covered back in March. Yet they tell me because the hotel offered to move the booking to a different date (which I declined because no idea when I will be allowed to go there without quarantine) they consider that "equivalent" to a refund. Their terms and conditions state this is the case when offered a voucher (which I wasn't) or a refund (which the hotel refused) but not a change of dates. When pointed out the conditions don't say this I was told they "can't put everything in the terms and conditions". I doubt that's legal but it's left to me to take them to court to prove it. I took out insurance to avoid the stress and hassle but they only cause more stress and hassle. As far as I am concerned they are liars and cheats. Don't use them and don't waste your money.
