I placed an order for a chair that was reported as in stock on 14th September. After two weeks I started to chase for an update since I had heard nothing since the order was placed. Online chat took 3 days for a response for them to even start investigating. 2 days later a poorly written response confirmed...they are looking into it. During that time I sent an email to customer services. A week later I get a response. At first I was told they had a delay in deliveries and covid affecting staff. 3 days later I chase them again and told they had late delivery of leather and waiting on gas. My order would now be treated as a priority and hoped to ship in the following week...great! 10 days later I chase them again. We're now over 5 weeks since the order placed comming up to 6. The story changes a bit...leather just came in that day. Still no gas. Throughout the poor communications I get asked if I want to select another chair. At this point I decided to cancel the order as this is feeling more and more like a scam. I had seen some of the negative reviews previously and decided to take the risk and save some money compared to getting the chair from elsewhere. Having a look at the reviews now shows some suspicious behavior...there are clusters of positive reviews left in close succession. This company can't get a chair ready in 6 weeks yet we see reviews of chairs being received in days...one person working from home has ordered 5 chairs in about 3 months..it's very suspicious!! (it looks pretty easy to set up fake accounts here anyway). They only deserve 1 star for completing the refund in 24 hours...about the only positive here. Complete waste of time.
