Please stay away from this company. Spent close to £1000.00 for a central heating issue (which was actually an issue with zone valve, originally suspected based on the google research and proven by another company). I suspected the issue with zone value (hot water works but heating is not) and mentioned this to the engineer from VHL, however he said issue is with bolier pump and there could be block in radiator and recommended to go for boiler pump replacement and power flush. So the first visit no fix was made and charged me £120 + VAT. Then second visit is to replace the pump and power flush, charged separately, all together reached close to £1000.00. When I noticed the heating is still not working, seems like intermittent, the VHL enginner said wait for a day to get the system back to normal. In two days I reported VHL that issue persists. I was told an enginner will come in two days but on the day I got a call and told enginner is sick.
Another reason to stay away from this company is that they take advance payment in full. I soon realised I was ripped off and not going to get the heating issue fixed by them nor going to get any refund. I had to call another company, they changed the zone value in 20 mins, heating working as normal.
