I have been looking for some time now to find a good quality wet razor. I have recently given up with (a very expensive) electric razor, after being a wet shaver for most of my life (60+ years 🤫)... Anyway, prior to my trial for over a year, with what is apparently the best rated electeic razor money can buy.).. I have never come close, to a "close shave"...at least not by comparison to wet shave razors... and I found I needed to use a pre gel in order to get a decent clean shave, which defeats the object somewhat... Previously I always swore by Gillette, and in particular the 'sensor pro glide' and I still say it is up at the top of the wet blade choices, although the cost since I last used regularly has become a reason to look at the many alternatives such as the subscription options out there now... I have tried a couple that left me less than impressed, although Harrys razors are definitely a quality product. Both the blades and the shaving gel in particular is the best I have ever used prior to now so I have a handle now for Harrys blades and also for my trusty Gillette Contour blade handle, which means I usually buy which ever of the two that may have dicount offers at the time, as there is little to choose between them. However... I have now tried CORNERSTONE for the first time...an so far I have a starter pack handle which is excellent of quality, and has a nice touch with the personalised monogram, and a pack of replacement razors. I have to say I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the quality of the blades...and they have to be at least as good if not THE BEST i have used... and I can see no reason not to make this brand my subscription of choice... so long as the price is competitive for blades as well as pre and post shave gel... I might just have found a winner.
