“OK so to start with I ordered next day as i needed the products for a trip to america, but next day came and i got an email saying sorry but they didnt make the post. This obviously annoyed me at first but they refunded the next day charge and got it in the post that day which to my surprise turned up the next day so i did infact have it in time. ok rant over now about the product.
The Miller's Beard Shampoo Bar, this soap lavers up great and is easy to work deep into the beard where others need far more time to feel like you are actually washing the hair and skin. it is very black though and did stain my white flannel black but it washed out fine. when rinsing the beard off it was lift feeling clean but still very soft instead of that dry wire feeling. overall i really like this product and it is the clear winner over previous brands and products used for washing.
Old Joll's Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood Beard Oil - well beard oil is beard oil right? WRONG..... i have used some very fine oils before which are like using water and make very little effect on the condition of the beard, then iv also used heavy oils which are very viscous and dont seem to absorb and leave the beard looking almost wet even when only applying a very small amount. This product hits the sweet spot in the middle and isnt as greasy as iv experienced (sounds silly for an oil right?) i also found i didnt need to reapply this throughout the day (I have a 3 inch beard for reference) - now the smell is sublime and is by far the nicest I have used and it lasts at least half a day. I have people ask what aftershave i use and it turns out the smell they like is the beard oil which actually overpowers my aftershave for much longer in the day.
Overall i am pleased my usual manufacturer was out of stock which prompted me to change brands and what a result - im fully converted to Brighton beard co.”
