Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“I emailed for advice between 2 harnesses, the response was spot on, as was the fitting guide online. Thank you! We have started to walk much further with our rescue boy but when he came to an unsure situation I was worried he was going to back out of his previous harness. The flagline is a dream! Fits brilliantly and seems so secure and escape proof. The handle and underbelly support have been invaluable and I think that my dog felt more secure wearing it. Well worth the money.”

“Size XS fits my 9kg patterdale well with plenty of adjustment. Harness is lovely and lightweight. Matches her ruffwear collar nicely and have found my love for red on her again. I'm not too sure on the buckle durability with them being small but there is 4 of them so that extra security is great!”

“We have now tried the Flagline a couple of times and think it is top of the line. It gives firm support and clearly spreads the load evenly through the chest pad without any pinch points. Of special note is how it allows our dog much more room around his front legs than his previous one. Getting the fit right to begin with takes time, a definite 5 hob nob problem, but shouldn't be rushed. The front and back attachments are ideally placed, and the handle is just perfect (although I have no idea why anyone would ever think of using the rear attachment!). Using the front attachment makes it so very much easier to control our very pully dog! My only criticism is that the front attachment is only made webbing rather than metal, so I do have question marks over it's longevity? Whoever made that decision must have been on an off day!”

Hi Pete, thanks for your review. We love the Flagline and are glad to hear you feel the same. With regards to the front loop it is designed to be used with a double ended training leash to help train the dog out of the habit of pulling rather than a main attachment point - although that being said the webbing is pretty sturdy stuff. “I wanted a harness that I could trust my nervous labradoodle couldn’t escape from ! I did lots of research and the reviews were good for this one. I knew I needed to spend a bit more money for a quality Product. I’m not disappointed! The quality is great it’s very light weight but sturdy. He’s been in the sea with it on and I just rinsed it off it dries really quickly. With the extra strap under the tummy I’m confident he won’t be able to get out of it. He also has arthritis so it’s ideal to go over his head and attach with straps and buckles rather than pushing his legs into uncomfortable positions to get it on”

“This was an upgrade for us from the Webmaster harness (which itself is a favourite and still in excellent condition despite several years of every day use) and I'm very pleased with it. I liked the idea of the section underneath the belly to distribute weight more evenly if using the carry handle to assist (which you can get as an optional detachable panel with the Webmaster but I preferred the idea of it being built-in to the main structure of the harness). The same excellent quality that I've come to expect from Ruffwear products with a more slim line/lighter design than previous iterations which still seems just as sturdy.”

“Absolutely love the flagline harness and the double track coupler. This has made walking the dastardly duo much easier as the pull like made and dart in different directions.... not a problem now as there are 3 different areas on the harness to attach the lead, (connect at the front to stop pulling)...and the double track coupler is bungee so my arm can stay in it socket”
