When your boat is out of the water, this useful device allows you to run the inboard engine by allowing a hose to be connected to the raw water inlet. The rubber suction pad is simply fitted over the thru hull scoop strainer, and the other end of the telescopic pole can be wedged against the ground to hold it securely in place. A hose can then be attached to the inlet spigot. ? Universal garden-type hose connector ? Aluminium pole ? “I found it struggles to get a good leak-free seal to the hull, it is easy to adjust the handle and lock it off once in position. a stiffer cup would probably help.”
