For its size, this is an excellent gizmo and much easier to work with than a conventional 'tap-tap' barometer. The lower (barograph) screen leaves you in no doubt as to what the pressure's doing. The only problem I had was with setting the altitude. I am using this 40 miles inland and I assumed that setting the altitude to zero (i.e sea level) would show me the pressure AT sea level, but it didn't. You have to feed in the altitude at your location if you're using the instrument ashore and it will then show the correct sea-level pressure. If in doubt, check with a local airfield and ask them for their QNH. Once set, resist the temptation to fiddle. Set it and leave it. The 'gale alarm' beep is virtually useless unless you're about 6" away from the instrument. There's provision for an external alarm but I haven't gone down that road yet. The only instructions are on-line; there's no manual and the instructions for setting up an external 'gale alarm' are vague to say the least.

Simple and accurate, a very nice barometer, my only issue is that the display is very dark in a dark cabin, yes there is a light but you have to press the button to light it.
