“Although initially the price seem reasonable there lots of additional cost add ons that werent disclosed, then to top it off when we arrived in krakow on saturday night with the tour the following day i hadnt recived any pick up location/time details. After finally getting holf of someone via a customer services online chat i was told that the tour operator had cancelled our trip with no expla nation or notice. We then had to book through another operator ourselves which was an additional cost to be told i woupd get a refund for the original trip within 7 days. When asked how much i would get refunded as the deal never broke down the prices i was told i would recieve £55 (for 2 people) which theu said was a full refund . The one we had to book cost £129 for 2 people and the itinerary was the same and looking at different opertaors the £129 for 2 people was about average so additional costs again and still yet to recieve the refund albeit hasnt been 7 days. I woudl never book anything like this through wowcher again and would just book by a legitimate tour operator its an absoloute joke and although it didnt stop us enjoying our time in krakow it really made it a little more stressful”

“Hotel is a long way from city centre, there is another same named hotel which was in centre Hotel is tired, especially in the rooms, only had 2 singles and no double which I was led to believe when I booked this. Flying Ryan air is a hassle with a lot of extras making this a lot more expensive than indicated in the advertisement Aushwich tours were rushed, the guide was unwell coughing continuously which we heard from our headphones, no time to ask questions, coach guide was amazing and very knowledgeable I was surprised that Polish people were rude and unhelpful, as I was told they were the opposite As a single traveller I felt safe walking around day and night and used the tram most days and Ubers to get back to the hotel when my feet were tired”

“Wasn’t quite sure what to expect as we had never booked a holiday through Wowcher! Well we weren’t disappointed and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly. We opted to pay extra for the breakfast and it was well worth it with lots of Polish specialties. The hotel was situated 2 minutes away from the tram and bus station and literally took 15 minutes to get into the centre of Krakow. The Auschwitz tour was a brilliant but sobering experience. Our guide was excellent as was our driver. I would definitely recommend and we are already looking at our next break with Wowcher.”

“We really enjoyed this 4 day break to Krakow. The apartment was ideal, warm and located perfectly. The Polish people we met were warm and welcoming. The day excursion to Aushwitz was a chilling but very valuable experience. WizzAir experienced delays but this did not impinge on our enjoyment. Highly recommended.”

“I paid for my Wowcher booking then had to deal with another company to book who could only book me dates that I would need to pay extra. An extra £140 on top of what I paid Wowcher . I also asked for confirmation that we could definitely do the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour on the Sunday and they confirmed so I agreed to book and pay the extra. I then got a message to say sorry the tour was no longer available so it was a waste of money and time and I will never buy a trip through Wowcher again. Who just passed the book to the travel company when I complained”

“Krakow is a beautiful city and a vibrant one. The flight with Wizz air was fine each way and on time. The aparthotel was great in amenities and location. I would have assumed that the package booked will have included the transfers to and from the airport/accomodation. I discovered on arrival at krk that it was not. And so had to pay taxi fayres. I was taking advantage of the Wowcher £89 pp deal. Sadly to get a flight to and from the same airport, and the right choice of room (ie twin room not double) all came at additional costs totalling £378 excluding the additional cost of seats on the plane discovered at online check in. £21 each. Each way. And excluding the taxi fayres £27 each way. My short trip to Krakow including Auchwitz tour for myself and my daughter now costing £516 instead of the teased advertised cost of £178. I will certainly go to Poland again but sadly will not be using Wowcher or travel deal. I will build my trip myself.”
