“Would have been lovely had it not arrived damaged. The delivery company had clearly handled it roughly as one corner of the box was damaged and the same corner of the beam was split. The after sales service was not good. Apparently as I hadn’t signed for the box as damaged there was nothing they could do. I did explain that I hadn’t signed for it at all and asked for a proof of delivery. I was sent a document showing my initials scribbled on it. Nice touch by the driver trying to forge my signature. Anyway as I can’t prove this Traditional beams aren’t interested. So not very impressed at being called a liar!! Won’t be using them again.”

Hello Donna, It's dissapointing to hear you were not satisfied with our customer service when this is an area we pride ourselves on. I would firstly like to apologise as it was never our intention to make you feel like you were being accused of lying. The reason we didn't offer a replacement was not because it wasn't signed for as damaged. We would always offer a replacement for an item damaged in transit no matter who signed for the parcel or how. On this occasion you had already installed the beam. We do state in our terms and conditions that we can not offer refunds or replacements for beams that have already been installed so we were trying to figure out a way around these terms and conditions for you. Again I am so sorry for the inconvenience you have had to deal with. Many thanks Rebecca

“We ordered 2 x 2ft shelves for our living room and we're very pleased with them. Very easy to put up and look great. Delivery time does take a while but this is stated when purchasing and should be expected for such high quality oak. Top marks!”
