“The sheer power and smooth delivery had me at the first ride. It's stable...well balanced and so nimble for its size and weight that it's a pleasure to ride in all conditions...I'm totally hooked!
Now the drawbacks....the new smaller tank looks and feels great but unfortunately doesn't hold that much fuel....about 2.4 gallons or 14 litres..ish which limits the range considerably...it shows the reserve has kicked in after only about 60 - 70 miles..and not quite sure how far it will stretch on reserve....the way I ride won't get much more than around 33mpg.....and as all other xjr1 300 models...still only has five gears....does the job but an extra gear would have been the icing on the cake. All in all though I absolutely love it!! Fantastic bike!”
