“What a bike! My Blackbird is everything I could possibly ask for in a bike, with one exception. It's not just powerful and fast.....it's amazingly fast. Well, it did hold the worlds fastest production bike title for a number of years. It handles really well as feels secure and solid on the straights and the corners. Brakes are powerful and it's very smooth through the gears. It's comfortable too and I've sat on it all day long, stopping only for fuel. I'm 6'3" tall and I never have to stretch my legs or back and there's never any excess pressure on my wrists. The engine is bullet-proof and even with 55,000 miles on the clock it still feels tight and like new. Now the 'bad' bit. All Blackbirds run hot, check out the forum, and it hates being in built-up areas. It's a delight on the open road but in town the temperature gauge rises steadily until I'm able to get some air through it again. It doesn't deter from the fantastic ride or the brilliant Honda build quality. If you're looking for a fast, reliable, comfortable tourer that'll out-perform most other bikes out there, even with a pillion and full luggage, this is most definitely one bike you should seriously consider.”
