Log-splitting experts Forest Master have upgraded the immensely popular FM10TW to produce seven ton of force for splitting harder woods such as oak.
As the FM10TW-7 has two pressure contact points instead of one, the seven ton splitting performance is increased to split logs equivalent to a 14 ton machine. The duocut blade allows the log splitter to be twice as effective as similarly rated electric log splitters with a traditional pusher and with the ability to split from either end, the machine can cope with even knotty wood. In addition, it is fitted with a ramstop that reduces the return distance and time when splitting shorter logs.
The Forest Master FM10TW-7 is powered by a 2200 watt electric motor and is capable of splitting logs up to 460mm in length and 500mm in diameter. Safety is paramount thanks to the simultaneous button and lever operation making it impossible to operate single handed, so it is fully compliant with the latest regulations.
The integral stand gives the most comfortable working height and the unique lockable front caster wheels allow the log splitter to be moved and set up with very little effort.
