Really easy to use for simple projects. I wanted to use this one for a wearable project mostly because it saved me a lot of pins on an Adafruit Feather M0 compared to creating 8 separate capacitive sensors manually. For that type of usage, the Breakout doesn't give any control on the sensitivity. Also, as it only gives a 'touch/not touched/' input, we can't do any data analysis to tweak the resistance. Which in most cases is what we want as it simplifies things massively! I was running into issues when the garment was placed on the body, even with insulation material in between. After long research, I found this forum post that alloys to go deeper in the code and change the sensitivity. It's useful for more advanced application (eg wearables with low sensitivity or putting something behind a thick glass panel for interactive installations): https://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=49138&p=247522&hilit=1188#p247522 (scroll down to @balam's post)
