“The 2x3 header pictured is actually not the same style as you'll receive, it ships with a shrouded one, keyed for orientation which is better.
Sits well in a breadboard, easy to solder and makes prototyping with Arduino Pro Minis or ATTinys a lot easier. Also acts as a point of disconnection and a means its less likely to yank out all your breadboard wiring if you pull upon it rather than a direct connection.
Slight annoyance is how it isn't symmetrical across the channel in the centre of a breadboard due to its width, but most things seem to follow that trend for some reason.
