“The product itself is good and works well. The packaging also includes the correct size wood drill bit, which is something that I didn't know until I had already bought one (before opening the restrictor kit fully!). Installation is a bit of a pig though. Having to remove the window is not easy, especially when it is a larger window and you have no external access. Fakro should just pre-drill the sockets into the side of the frames, and you would only need to push fit the restrictor!”
Hi. Thanks for your feedback on our window restrictors and their installation. Unfortunately yes, it is necessary to remove the window sash to install these, as it's not a simple job and some drilling is required.
