“Surprisingly underwhelming performance from Makita. Using outdoors in the field (where power supply is tricky) for heat shrink and doesn’t really do the job that well. Forget paint stripping level of heat - no chance. Accessories fall off easily.”

“As others reviewers have pointed out this heat gun will not compete with blow torches or more powerful mains driven products but… it is perfect for my purposes. Easily softens plastic irrigation pipes to either remove or add connectors. With no cord to drag around it’s a very convenient and useful tool. Very pleased with my purchase.”
