I have loads of Dewalt tools but this is disappointing it should be advertised as a hair dryer not a hot air gun

I don't recommend the hot air setting, it's too weak.

This is the only dewalt tool I have bought which isn’t fit for purpose. It’s an embarrassment. I can hold my hand in front of it and barely any heat comes out and the airflow is just as ineffective. What makes matters worse is that Powertool world don’t seem to want to accept returns. I had to run an errand earlier in the week and was passing by the offices and thought I would pop by as it was on the way. The lady in the click and collect said that they didn’t accept returns. Disappointed customer

From the reviews I had seen the DeWalt gun was the best choice in terms of heat output and this does seem to be true. The gun does heat shrink quickly and efficiently which is my main use for it

Only used once so far but I am disappointed that it's not that powerful.
