“The transaction, delivery and packaging were fine but the product is disappointing. The body of the clock is a pinkish cream and the spindles finished in a dull gold paint. I have dismantled the clock to re-spray it a satin off-white. The spindles unscrew and have been stripped to reveal bright machined metal underneath. I will also re-arrange the colour sequence of the balls to avoid having the blue and teal colours next to each other as they are too close in tone. Hopefully by the time I've finished it should look closer to the style of the original and acceptable to hang on my kitchen wall.”
