Excellent product. Looks cool. I read all of the previous reviews and was a little apprehensive about installing it. But it went on very smoothly. Took about 1 hour, most of that was trying to make sense of the picture instructions. They are good diagrams but they need a few text 1 liners to go with it. Basically there are a few bits and pieces that you take off like all the washers and 2 of the screws that you don't need anymore which is a bit confusing if you are trying to put them all back, as the bar comes with 2 replacement screws and 2 large spacers, so you don't need all the washers, just maybe 2 for each end.My car is a MK2 with factory windblocker, don't know if that makes any difference to the ease of my installation. So don't be put off by all the other reviews, go get this thing, its the dogs bollox :-)

As others have pointed out instructions could be better ! (if you assign letters to things wouldn't it be a good idea to say what they are on instructions? ) As for the welding ! Well it looks like it was welded by a monkey ,by far the worst welding I've ever seen !It's just lucky the way I'm fitting mine it won't show ! I'd be ashamed to have the welds on show (they really are that bad quality )Do I.L. Motorsport have any kind of Quality control?

The picture doesn't do justice as the finish of the Style Bar is fantastic. The fitting instructions are next to worthless as they certainly didn't work with my MK1, but it isn't rocket science. With a few mods I had the bar fitted in around 45minutes. If in doubt, buy one!

The bars arrived OK and I gleefully opened the box. The bars look great ,only problem is that all the instructions are in German. The two pics only show the bars fitted from the rear of the car, so they are no use.Help!!Editors Note:Oops, English instructions on their way in the morning!

My advice.... fit to seat belt retaining bolts as per instructions. Forget about trying to align brackets with factory windblocker holes!! ... they won't (on my W reg Icon that is). Bolt in place on seat belt retaining bolts and drill new holes to affix brackets.Delivery was next day, instructions poor, but when sorted looks the part!

Looks really good, great to retain factory windblocker. Fitting illustrations could have done with some text to make it more clear.I added some foam patches to prevent windblocker & hood hinges (when down) knocking against it over bumps! Well worth it , looks good.
