“The feeder supplied is not an ETON feeder. Hence the 4 stars. The feeder is made by another company (probably the same factory that used to make the Eton feeder judging by the quality) but is every bit as robust as my original Eton feeder with a couple of nice additions to make the attachments more stable for the feed tube. It is hard to get the handle attached but once made up is much better than the standard 20KG feeders from other manufacturers with the central spike. We have managed to destroy a lot of that type. Very good to hang inside. Do not put outside without protection from the elements.”

“After discussing that I needed a feeder that would keep the rats away, the company personally recommended this item. I put the feeder as high as possible (the poor chickens were on tiptoes!) the rats could still easily reach it so useless for my needs. Also found the food would stay in the middle drum and not filter down to the feeding ring, I brought a large feeder so it would be lower maintenance but this meant I had to go in regularly to shake it down. Company really awkward and refused refund.”
