“Sturdy feeder, but it took a while to work out how to put it together. Some instructions, or a link to on-line instructions would be useful. The plastic top blows away easily if it's not hung up. To hang it up we had to use a piece of string looped round the handle and through the top of the lid. So the lid design is a bit odd. The feeder part works fine though.”

“I bought this for my aviaries with rescue birds, in the hope that the food wont get flicked all over the floor. It is just the right height and holds a lot of seeds. Its a backstop for them so they dont run out of food in case I cant get there until the afternoon.”

“It was a good feeder, but I had not been able to see the dimensions on the web site, so it was much too big for my two banthams and I sent it back. Half the size would have been brilliant. I was very happy with the service provided.”

“This replaced a cheaper plastic chicken feeder which UV light had made brittle and useless. The metal ETON replacement is infinitely stronger and with a larger circumference allows 5 chickens to feed with plenty of space beside them. Result no henpecking. The feed gravitates easily all around to the outer edges. No wastage. I set this feeder at 10 inches above ground level and the chickens find this a comfortable height to dine. The owners are away on holiday and as luck would have it the original plastic feeder broke on first contact on my first day of stewardship. Bollards !!!! Delivery was very swift. Chickens are feeding well and the owners will have a nice surprise on their return. My own opinion is that the ETON metal chicken feeder is good value, well made and will last a very long time.”

“Very sturdy and so well made it took me ages to fit together - ended up using a heavy duty tool! As someone else said, it would be great if the lid could be properly attached. Any suggestions for trying to attach very welcome!”
