“I’ve bought one of these before and rate it incredibly highly - which is why I chose to buy a second larger one. Unfortunately this one that I received has not been put together in the same high standard as previous ones. Rivets have been placed under the connection rather than being used as a connector. I have contacted the company little fields farm that I bought it through but haven’t had any responses yet. I’m a bit disappointed as I’m obviously unable to use it with no resolution either. I don’t like to complain, but it doesn’t feel right not having something off the correct standard. Are my expectations too high to just want what I’ve ordered?”

“Arrived very quickly. Simple to put together. The hens are still getting used to it but I have propped the ramp open so that they can get used to walking up the ramp and feeding first. Seems well made.”

“If I were allowed to give zero score or negative score, I would definitely give it a minus 10. Badly designed product, completely incompatible with the foraging behaviour of chickens - feeder hopper not in the right position to allow chickens to get feeds when they are on the treadle - flap too loud when it's closed - and chickens do not like standing on the treadle - the fact that it is movable scares them off and won't stay still on it to even have time to reach feeds inside. I wonder whoever designed this crap has ever keep a chicken in their life. What a complete waste of my money and time to put it together. Never never buy from this manufacturer”

“Absolutely THE worst product I have ever purchased , it simply does not work as promised . The food / grain ( it matters not , what kind does not drop down at the back as intended , it jams every single day hence the idea that 20kg could be loaded and forgotten for a few days does not apply ( please read reviews on Amazon which will confirm my findings ) add to this the actual feeding tray too small and too far back means that were the food able to drop my dicks cannot reach it . All in all ….don’t waste your money it doesn’t work ..no way will the grain drop through such a small portal . Having read several reviews suffering the same instead of taking the sensible route and returning , I attempted to modify / bend / enlarge the grain access and in so doing …Broke it , hence it’s in no fit state to be returned , entirely my stupid fault . But to reiterate …Don’t chance it …it’s not fit for purpose ,”
