Made from lightweight perspex detailed with pretty star cut outs, each lantern is 18cm tall. Simply flick the switch underneath to see the LED candle radiate an amber flicker. Whilst the lanterns can be placed outdoors in dry weather, to maintain their good looks pop them inside for the winter months. You can expect 72 hours of illumination from each set of batteries. These clever little lanterns will light up for 6 hours, automatically switching back on at the same time the following day.

“Part of my first order was a set of "outdoor" lanterns that arrived in a box clearly indicating indoor use. Back to the on-line shop and it said to be brought inside in winter... spoke to someone on the phone who told me I'd have to bring them indoors in other seasons if it rains! Unbelievable. That's like having to weather-watch for your washing. These lanterns are obviously not outdoor - and I doubt that I'll be placing another order with the company that was so highly recommended.”

We recommend you bringing them indoors in the winter months to protect them and extend their longevity. Hello Sue, Thank you for your review. I'm so sorry if you expected the Lanterns to be metal instead of a perspex material. This is so that the Lanterns can be lightweight and make them more weather resistant, if they were metal you'd find that they may end up going a bit rusty in the rain and no-one likes a rusty looking Lantern!
