This CD was conceived by Megan Faure, co-author of "Baby Sense", and birthed by William Gets, musician and father with a passion for sensory nurturing of babies. The CD encompasses the perfect sounds combined to promote sleep and calm in a new baby. Blended white noise, in combination with womb sounds transport babies back to the last comforting days in the womb.
Why play white noise and womb sounds to your baby?
White noise induces sleep and results in a deeper sleep state. While listening to white noise, babies will sleep more peacefully and for longer periods without waking. Womb sounds and white noise calm babies by taking them back to the familiar sounds of the womb. Playing white noise at a volume similar to the baby's cry will limit colic episodes. The CD can be taken with parents when baby needs to sleep in a foreign environment, thereby creating a familiar environment for baby to sleep in. The volume can be adjusted according to the baby's needs. It is not recommended that the CD is played whilst driving in the car. The white noise CD can also be used for any aged person struggling to sleep at night.
