Real Steel Heinnie® Lansdowne Reviews

4.5 Rating 4 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

These Real Steel Heinnie® collaborations celebrate Heinnie Haynes' 25th birthday. There are four to collect, each one named after the location of the business at different periods in the Heinnie® story!
They are all UK legal carry, having a non-locking blade under three inches long. Simple in design yet highly effective in use they will be equally at home in a tough working environment sitting in your pocket or on your wall in a frame!
The Real Steel Lansdowne refers to the distant origins of Heinnie Haynes® that began in the back bedroom of its creator Bruce in Lansdowne Road, Cardiff. There isn't a blue plaque yet...but maybe one day!!
The Lansdowne has a sheepsfoot blade and, like the others, features the Heinnie® 'H' cut out of the handle and engraved onto the blade. Each one has it's own individual number (sorry you can't choose which number you have!) and has a pocket clip and lanyard hole to accessorise as you wish.

Great EDC knife. Simple, tough, useful blade shape, very sharp and a handy clip. Brilliant value.

This is a lovely knife. Really like the slim minimal design. The single blade and simple frame allows it to be easily stowed in any pocket or bag, and the clip is really handy. It's well made, a great knife for this price. It is a capable knife, but cheap enough that I don't have to be precious about carrying and using it, or even letting someone else use it!

The knife feels so slim so you barely notice it in a pocket. It is as good of a budget knife as you will find. Mine unfortunately had a defective thread for a pocket clip screw so I've returned for a replacement (process seems straight forward so far). Im a fan of the sheep's foot blade shape and as long as you want a good value single blade without other tools it's a no brainer. Would be 4 stars if my screw hadn't fallen out.

As you would expect with Heinie and Real Steel working together, a great little knife. It's super light and slender so it disappears in the pocket, though it has a clip and a lanyard hole to you can keep from completely losing it. The spring a spot on, a good level of pull and stays in place very well with no blade wiggle or bounce. There is a stop pin to stop blade rap and a sharpening choil so you can keep the whole blade in tip top order. This knife doesn't have a half stop, which is a personal preference thing either way. It came razor sharp and the grid seems to be bang on as is blade centering. All in all a great little EDC at an amazing price. Delivery was rocket fast so great work as ever from the team at HH! If you're thinking of getting one, just do it! It would be a great little starter knife for a younger one as well!
