“I have only been using this moisturiser for about a week but it feels really nice on the skin - quite creamy when it goes on but it sinks in very quickly and is not at all greasy on my skin. The scent is really lovely and so is generally a pleasure to use. I can't really comment on it's effectiveness at controlling blemishes as I've only used it for a short while but I feel hopeful.”

“I'm very impatient and after a week I didn't see much difference. However I'm really glad I stuck to it because I've been using it for three weeks now and my skin feels so lovely. It appears hydrated and I haven't even been wearing make up because it looks so smooth. Very pleased!”

“I absolutely love this cream. It ticks all of the boxes for me. I have really sensitive skin so I wanted a product with no artificial fragrances,l and no SPF. It smells divine, I look forward to using it every morning and it doesn't leave a greasy film on my skin, but at the same time my skin feels moisturised. “I purchased this moisturiser alongside the Foaming Face Wash and it's great. I have combination skin prone to acne so I decided to try organic skincare because I felt my previous skincare did not benefit me. Within a few days my skin become more clear, less irritated and I no longer suffer from dry skin using this moisturiser. The moisturiser leaves my skin smooth and hydrated for hours and soothes my irritated skin. When I apply it, my acne spots reduce in redness and the inflammation goes away, even when using the smallest amount. Another great benefit is it sits perfectly on my skin, making makeup application a treat because my skin is a smooth, hydrated base to apply makeup to. I would definitely recommend this product to someone else. I used to use 5 skincare products which cost a lot in total, however now I use just 2 products by Green People because they are so effective. I only use a small amount of this product and the results are amazing and the product lasts me around 3 months. I'm so happy I purchased this product :)”

All our products are designed to mimic the skins natural lipids so shouldn’t sit on the skin, if you find they are it may be that you are using a little too much. Half a pea size is usually more than enough as our products are highly concentrated so a little goes a long way!
It may also be due to exfoliation, how often do you exfoliate? It is essential that the nutrients and active ingredients in your moisturiser can penetrate deeper to the living cells of the skin. This becomes increasingly important as we age and blood circulation slows down, meaning less oxygen is delivered to skin cells leading to a reduced rate of cell renewal. Those in their 20’s/30s should exfoliate once a week, those in their 40s should exfoliate twice a week, and those in their 50s should exfoliate 3 times a week.
