Griselinia or New Zealand Broadleaf are evergreen shrubs which are grown for their alternate, leathery leaves. These are bright apple green in colour and sometimes have a splashing of cream variation throughout the leaf. Griselinia bear small yellow-green flowers in late Spring and produce purple fruits if both a male and female plant are present. Griselinia enjoy light, fertile soil in full sunlight. They do not need regular pruning but can be dead-headed after flowering. They mostly hardy and the perfect hedger for coastal areas. Griselinia Littoralis Bantry Bay is a beautiful variety that has creamy yellow leaves with a green edge, yellowish green flowers in late spring. Height can reach 3m overtime
