“frames are not to obad and go together reasonably well although there is a knack to getting the steel tangs engaged properly. The MDF shelves however in my slightly damp garage developed a serious mould problem and rapidly became unusuable. SO if you have any damp in the location these shelves will be in at least paint the shelves as quickly as possible and better still dont get MDF shelves”
Hi David, Really sorry to hear you've had an issue with our MDF shelves. Unfortunately, if your garage/shed is a damp environment then mould can become an issue. As with any untreated wood, damp/water will cause problems I'm afraid. That isn't down to our MDF, it is in an MDF/wood issue full stop. We do also supply our more industrial units with 18mm chipboard, but again, if placed in a damp environment, they may well grow mould/rot.

“I purchased 2 sets of "3 x Boltless Garage Shelving Bays 180cm (H) 90cm (W) 40cm (D) + Workbench" when they arrived I was very disappointed, in my head I pictured some heavy duty racking and 8 smallish boxes arrived.
When I opened the boxes my disappointment continued both the wood and metal simply looked too thin.
How WRONG I was - The racking is fantastic, easy to put up and looks the part - my garage has now been transformed and each shelf holds a massive amount of gear with no sign of strain.
Highly recommend - If I had a bigger garage I would order more without delay.

“Excellent solution for tidying up the garage. Very easy to assemble once you get the hang of it. I was a bit sceptical about them being boltless, what’s wrong with bolts? but it does work. My only tip is build them in situ, they don’t like being lifted.”
