“I'm getting older and my body is complaining about spending so much time in my computer chair. I knew I had to do something about it, previously I've tried kneeling stools and expensive chairs to help but the most it's done is slow things down. I needed to reverse the damage rather than slow it and decided I'd be silly not to invest in a standing desk.
After some research I landed on Furna's website, the desks look a lot nicer than some of the others and with the memory function on the control panel, it meant I could set and forget.
I ordered an E2 (140x80, black top, white legs) and it was delivered quickly. Assembly was a bit more than I expected (the desk isn't pre-drilled but you can just screw straight in to it with the provided screws).
After an hour or so I had the desk assembled and working. Now, 3 days later I'm loving having this desk, standing is far nicer than sitting (I expected to hate standing and thought it would feel uncomfortable).
I do have one issue in that when raising the desk to height it sometimes stops before it should, support have mentioned they've not heard of this before and that the legs may need to be loosened with use, so to wait it out for a week or so.
Support have been excellent and I feel confident they'll ensure the desk is 100% going forward so I'm not worried. Overall, I'm converted and feel it's one of the best buys I've done for a long time.”
