“Mixed feelings about these. The design is really cool and I wanted to love them! However, though the clocks are nice, the photography makes them look better than they are. Check the size - they are bigger than you would have thought from the pictures - too big for a desk clock and too small for a wall clock. Also, they don't feel as high quality as expected - the white plastic hands look a bit cheap (though the wooden ones are ok) and the magnets that hold the back cover on are a bit weak so it sometimes falls off. You can also slightly see the brassy screw on the mechanism which is a shame. I like them, but wish they'd been half the price -- it feels hard to justify the enormous cost. I did keep them in the end, though I keep wondering whether I should have returned them.”
